Service & Warranty
Our skilled team will be on hand to assist you with any questions that you may have about your new home. They will also provide you with expert advice on how to keep your home looking as great as it was on the day you and your family moved in.
You will also have peace of mind of knowing that your home is covered by the Leisurecom Homes Structural Stability guarantee (build to code NZ3604) for the period of 10 years.
Leisurecom Homes Build Process
At Leisurecom Homes, we specialise in design and build options. We are passionate about understanding our clients’ needs and we believe creating an open and clear relationship is essential.
Our Sales Consultant will meet with you to understand your needs and requirements for the proposed build and gather the following information:
- Do you want an Ex-Factory or Full Contract build?
- Do you want to work with one of our standard plans or do you have a plan of your own?
- Where is your site located?
- What is your time-frame for a home to be sited?
- What is your set budget for the build?
If you have a wish list of features you would like included in your build, our experienced draughtsman can incorporate these into your design. Our designs can be drawn to work with your lifestyle and budget.
Our Concept drawings do not include full on-site design for a Development Committee.
Once the Concept Drawings have been completed, we can proceed with costing the build. Within 2-3 weeks we will provide you with a full, fixed-price quotation for a build Ex-factory. Any on-site works will be quoted for separately.
Once pricing has been accepted, we will draw up an ex-factory or full build contract. Once you have signed the contract, a deposit will be invoiced to you. Working drawings will commence as soon as the deposit has been paid.
Working drawings will be submitted to Council for building consent. If required, we will also organise an engineer to carry out any structural, drainage or geo-tech reports required by Council. 20 working days is required for the working drawings to be processed through Council.
Once permits are confirmed, we can confirm the building start and delivery dates. An experienced Project Manager is assigned to liaise with you throughout the build.
Once the build is complete, we then organise for an inspection and sign off. Final payment will be required as to the contractual agreement.
Build to site
The building is sited and all services are connected. If we are contracted to do a 'Full Build', our onsite crew will complete any decks, baseboards, carports etc.
